Our unique refill and reuse program allow our customers to purchase their refillable Kombucha bottle and then either refill it at a discounted price at one of our partner refill stations or swap empty for full at our retail space at the Pocket Storehouse, Artisan Sourdough Bakery. When you re-use your bottle, you not only create less waste, you also save money. These partners are listed below. Our grab and go 330ml bottles available at our Retail Partners are also eligible for the Containers For Change program, encouraging recycling by returing the bottle to a container refund point.
At HOTI we do not use plastic bottles, it’s all about keeping our seas plastic free.

DRINK EASY awarded HOTI first place for Mango Passionfruit, 2nd place for Ginger Glow and 4th place for Blood Orange in their kombucha category. In addition we placed in the top 10 of the Non-Alcoholic drink category with 2 of HOTI’s favourite flavours, Ginger Glow and Mango Passionfruit.
What started as a hobby in my quest for wellness in 2016, has now transformed into a flourishing business. I founded HOTI Kombucha to meet a gap in the health beverage market in the Bundaberg, Hervey Bay and Wide Bay region for those looking for a healthier alternative. Fuelled by my passion and purpose to do what I love, HOTI Kombucha has since become the Kombucha of choice for locals.
HOTI is the first commercially produced Kombucha in the Wide Bay and Bundaberg Region and as a recent winner of the Bundaberg Region Chamber of Commerce 2019 Business Excellence Awards, I’m extremely proud of my achievements. HOTI Kombucha is now a regular draw card for tourists and is part of the drinks trail organised by Bundaberg Tourism.
I have also been considered a success story with the Females in Food Organisation, inspiring other women in food and drink and was also listed in the top 50 businesses in the Inside Small Business Magazine. HOTI Kombucha is also a proud member of Bundaberg Tourism.

These healthier alternatives result in a dark, slightly chewy variety of the biscuit but you’ll still be getting the low-GI goodness of rolled oats, the nutrients found in coconut sugar and the spelt flour makes it easier for your tummy to digest them.
I used @loving_earth coconut sugar and @kiallapurefoods organic oats. Both of these can be found at @olsenscornerfoodworks. And if you’re a lover of macadamia nuts, then why not add some from @macadamias_australia??
Enjoy.
🥄INGREDIENTS
1 cup wholemeal spelt flour
1 cup organic rolled oats
1 cup desiccated coconut or shredded coconut
¾ cup coconut sugar
125g butter
2 tablespoons maple syrup
3 tablespoons water
½ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
🥄METHOD
Preheat oven to 160°C and line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
In a large bowl, combine flour, oats, coconut and coconut sugar.
In a small saucepan, stir the butter and maple syrup over medium heat until butter melts and mixture is smooth. Take off the heat. Stir the bicarbonate of soda with the water and add to butter and maple syrup.
Add to the oat mixture and stir well to combine.
Roll level tablespoons of the mixture into balls and flatten.
Bake in oven for 15 minutes or until golden.
Allow to cool for 10 minutes and then transfer to wire cooling rack.
